We arrange competitive insurance cover for thousands of customers across the UK, but that wasn't always the case! Got You Covered is a young, family-run business which has grown very quickly. Here's the story of our success...
Got You Covered begins trading in December 2017, in the humble setting of our CEO's own home.
By May 2018 we've reached 100 customers. Quote Zone and Compare the Market are on board by year-end, allowing us to reach customers nationwide.
We move to new offices in Hampton Hill in January 2019, allowing for significant expansions in all divisions across the business.
Rapid growth continues despite the pandemic, which sees another office move to Webb Ellis House in Twickenham as well as further recruitment and commercial expansion.
By 2021 we're going from strength-to-strength, surpassing all growth targets and exceeding £10m in written premium.
2022 sees us welcome our 10,000th customer. We're trading on all major comparison sites and have our sights set on becoming one of the Top 50 brokers in the UK!
This year we celebrated passing 15,000 live policies with senior hires to propel the business forward and cementing existing partnerships and creating important new ones to continue our growth.
We were delighted to be finalists at the Insurance Broker Awards and continued to further the GYC journey with customers, staff and partnerships.
A successful start with a restructure for GYC, designed to better align our teams with client needs, streamline internal processes, and position us in a rapidly evolving market. We also celebrated reaching 30,000 live policies.
